An eagle-eyed K-Pop fan spotted an unlikely audience member at a recent concert of Korean boyband BTS in Hong Kong.
Seated among the sea of fans who attended BTS‘ Wings concert on May 13 was the legendary Ip Man himself, Hong Kong action superstar Donnie Yen. According to Koreaboo, the Hollywood celebrity was seen with his family.

Interestingly, one of the popular group’s members is also a self-confessed Donnie Yen fan.
Jungkook had admitted in an interview that he is a huge fan of the popular actor. Asked which popular artist he wanted to work with, Jungkook revealed that he prefers Donnie Yen, saying he even wants to learn martial arts from him.
Other members of the group have stated that they hope the international star would someday notice Jungkook. BTS member Kim Nam-joon, AKA Rap Monster, is positive Jungkook’s dream may come true soon.
“I think Donnie Yen will contact us very soon… Hopefully, he will notice that we have a kid like this soon,” the Rap Monster was quoted as saying.
Had the group done their martial arts-themed dance like the one below during the concert, then Jungkook might actually have impressed his hero with his action style.
