U.S. President Donald Trump was reportedly “obsessed” with the breasts of a Japanese translator who came along with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe for a White House visit last month.

The claim was published by Graydon Carter, Vanity Fair’s editor-in-chief, on Wednesday:

“A couple of weeks earlier, during a visit by the Japanese prime minister, Shinzō Abe, the president told an acquaintance that he was obsessed with the translator’s breasts—although he expressed this in his own, fragrant fashion.”

According to New York Daily News, Carter said that the information came from a credible “source” but refused to give more details.

The claim itself is challenging to verify. All we know is that Trump and Carter have been slamming each other for some time. It can be recalled that Vanity Fair published an unforgiving review of the Trump Tower’s steakhouse in December, to which the then-president-elect replied in a tweet:

On the other hand, Carter published editorial letters with headlines like, “Someone Has Finally Agreed to Perform at Donald Trump’s Inauguration”, “Donald Trump: A Pillar of Ignorance and Certitude” and “The Trump Presidency Is Already A Joke”.

Could President Trump be truly obsessed with that translator’s breasts, or is this just another tirade on Carter’s end?
