    A university promotion video retells the incredible true journey of one child soldier who was taken away from his home and family at the age of 6.

    Western Sydney University shared the story of one of its graduates, Deng Adut, in a touching video that tells his life story. At the age of 12, Adut was shot in the back and at 15 he taught himself to read. After joining the university’s law program, he went on to earn a degree as a refugee lawyer.
