A travel website recently showed what it was like to board All Nippon Airways’ (ANA) special “Demon Slayer”-themed airplanes.
See for yourself: On Aug. 7, TikTok user Otaku in Tokyo (@otakuintokyo) posted a video about ANA’s “Demon Slayer” planes that are currently operating domestically in Japan.
Besides the captivating artwork on the exterior of the planes, the flying vehicles also feature “Demon Slayer”-themed headrest covers; cabin crew members wearing Nezuko and Shinobu aprons; and two souvenirs: a “Demon Slayer” boarding certificate and menko cards.
Passengers are greeted by their captain with the voice of Tanjiro Kamado, the lead character of the “Demon Slayer” franchise. Additionally, passengers can watch the “Demon Slayer” anime series and the movie “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train” during their flight.
About the collaboration: ANA announced its latest collaboration with the popular franchise in June. According to the airline’s press release, it released three “Demon Slayer”-themed DHC8-400 aircraft, and its domestic flights with the unique planes began on July 14.
ANA previously collaborated with the “Demon Slayer” franchise last year.
What people are saying: Several fans commented on Otaku in Tokyo’s recent Instagram post, with one user writing, “Where do you find these themed flights? I wanntttttt.”
“All aboard the Mugen Plane!” another user wrote.
