Unless you’ve been living under a rock recently, you’ve surely heard about the new “Tomb Raider” movie starring Alicia Vikander and Daniel Wu.
The story follows the lead character, Lara Croft (Vikander), as she searches for her missing, presumably dead father on a deserted island somewhere off the coast of Japan.
During her travels, she meets Lu Ren (Wu), who becomes her ally and helps her solve the mystery behind her father’s strange disappearance.

The pair embark on a treacherous journey, defying all odds and overcoming great trials and tribulations to find her father. While Croft appears completely capable and tackles all challenges head on, she relies on Ren’s experience and judgement to make good decisions that are in her best interest and propel her forward in her once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
