‘Wheel of Time’ star Daniel Henney marries fellow actor, model Ru Kumagai

Korean American actor and model Daniel Henney recently married Japanese actor and model Ru Kumagai in a private and intimate wedding ceremony held in the U.S.
Marriage announcement: Henney’s label, Echo Global Group, confirmed the news on Friday, acknowledging their previous dating rumors, which began in 2018, and explaining that they decided to start dating after the speculations.
“Daniel Henney has met someone whom he wants to spend the rest of his life with, and so he has decided to bear the fruit of those emotions through marriage. Daniel Henney’s partner is Ru Kumagai, an Asian American actress and model,” the label announced.
The couple’s relationship timeline is not disclosed as they have kept it low-profile. The talent agency also requested privacy for the newlyweds while welcoming congratulatory messages for the couple.
About the actors: Henney, 43, known for his work in both American and Korean entertainment, has starred in various dramas and films, including “Criminal Minds,” “My Lovely Sam Soon” and “Big Hero 6.” He currently stars on Prime Video’s “Wheel of Time” series.
Kumagai, 30, is an actor and model who recently produced and starred in the action-comedy film “Happy Mart.”
