Crunchyroll has released a new “Demon Slayer” spinoff series called “Junior High and High School!! Kimetsu Academy Story.”

The spinoff is a series of seven light-hearted shorts — each between one and three minutes long — that places the “Demon Slayer” characters in an alternate reality where they attend a school to learn how to slay demons. They are now available on Crunchyroll in both dubbed and subbed versions.

Instead of slicing demons, Tanjiro, Inosuke and the gang deal with amusing tasks such as getting dressed appropriately for school. In the series, Inosuke is scolded to button up his shirt, Tanjiro can’t wear his earrings and Zenitsu has to dye his hair black.

These shorts are for “Demon Slayer” fans waiting with bated breath for the hit show’s third season to premiere on Crunchyroll in April. Meanwhile, the film “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village” will kick off the season in select theaters on March 3.
