Netflix showcases John Cho as Spike Spiegel in latest ‘Cowboy Bebop’ live-action first look photos

Netflix released the first look photos for the highly anticipated live-action adaptation of the critically acclaimed sci-fi anime series, “Cowboy Bebop.”
Teaser: The teaser pictures featured John Cho as the charismatic Spike Spiegel, Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black and Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine, Gizmodo reported.
- The second set of teasers only highlighted Cho’s character, Spike.
- Cho has been teasing fans of the ‘90s anime series/film created by Hajime Yatate, the collective pseudonym for Sunrise animation studio and its staff, since 2019.
Other details: The series follows the story of Spike and his group of bounty hunters as they travel throughout the solar systems catching criminals, Variety reported.
- The series’ production had to be delayed for seven to nine months in 2019 after Cho suffered a knee injury from a “freak accident” while filming.
- “Cowboy Bebop” will run for 10 episodes and is scheduled to be released on Nov. 19.
