Constance Wu’s Character in ‘Hustlers’ Finally Revealed

Constance Wu has unveiled a sneak peek of her character “Destiny” in the upcoming female-led heist film “Hustlers.”

The 37-year-old actress revealed a few shots of her character via a short clip uploaded to her Instagram account.

Aside from showing off Wu’s enigmatic character, the teaser also revealed that the film’s first trailer is scheduled to debut on Wednesday, July 17.

The film, which also stars J.Lo, Keke Palmer, Julia Stiles, Lili Reinhart, Mercedes Ruehl, Trace Lysette and Cardi B in various roles, is based off Jessica Pressler’s New York Magazine article about a group of “former strip club employees” who make an attempt to “turn the tables” and scam their Wall Street clients.

Set in New York City during the 2000s financial crisis, Hustlers is being directed by Lorene Scafaria and produced by STXfilms. While filming only started in March, the movie has a target release date of September this year.
