‘Rich Mom’ on TikTok is the Asian Mom We All Wish We Had in Quarantine

A “rich” Asian mom is helping her TikTok followers look fabulous and glamorous while stuck at home during the COVID-19.

Korean American fashion stylist/blogger Chriselle Lim has become quite an influential content creator on social media, attracting over 750,000 subscribers on YouTube and 1.3 million followers on Instagram.

Lim, who started out as a wardrobe stylist, also has her own blog called The Chriselle Factor. Aside from using her online platforms to share her expertise in fashion, styling tips, beauty secrets, she also speaks passionately about women’s empowerment.

Lim delights her TikTok fans with her “Rich Mom” persona in which she dishes her lifestyle tips via short but well-made videos.

Speaking to her over 1.4 million followers under the username @chrisellelim, Lim shares tips on how to look your utmost classiest while wearing sweatpants or when you’re about to go to bed!

On Lim’s “Rich Mom” TikTok clips, she is occasionally joined by her husband, “rich dad” Allen as well as their adorable children.

Back in March, Lim addressed her growing TikTok popularity in a YouTube video. In it, she spoke how her “Rich Mom” alter ego is intended to come across as someone who’s “fabulous and has no shame.”
