Chloe Kim ‘Shook’ After Oscar Winner Frances McDormand Gives Her a Shoutout

Olympic gold medalist Chloe Kim is awestruck after hearing from Frances McDormand at the Oscars on Sunday night.

McDormand, who won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,” said in her acceptance speech:
“I’m hyperventilating a little bit. If I fall over, pick me up because I’ve got some things to say… I think is what Chloe Kim must have felt like after doing back-to-back 1080s in the Olympic half-pipe.”

Kim, who took home her first Olympic gold for snowboarding on Feb. 13, tweeted after McDormand’s shoutout:

“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,” is McDormand’s second Academy Award for Best Actress. She first won the prize in 1997 for her role in “Fargo.”
