Chloe Bennet has confirmed alleged reports that
Responding to a Twitter user who questioned the relationship, the “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” star pointed out that the controversial YouTuber has changed her life “for the better” and that she has done the same in return.
“Cause he’s kind, creative, funny, vibrantly curious about life, weird as fuck in all the best ways, a big dork, and he’s one of my best friends. It doesn’t make sense to a lot of people, but it doesn’t have too. He’s changed my life for the better and I’ve done the same for him.”
Rumors of the pair’s romance began circulating last week when fans spotted them together in Bennet’s hometown of Chicago, Illinois.
In an Instagram clip shared by @chlogan_offical, Paul can be seen praising Bennet after a baseball pitch.
“It was perfect … She’s a star,” Paul said.
The pair have also been filmed hanging out together indoors.
In December, both unfollowed each other on social media accounts amid widespread outrage on Paul’s Japan’s “Suicide Forest” video, where he “joked” about a suicide victim’s body.
While Paul’s fans are reportedly celebrating, Bennet is receiving criticism for dating what netizens are calling a “racist,” “inconsiderate” and “obnoxious man child.”
But some are supporting the Asian American actress “as long as she’s happy.”
