Two female Chinese customers at a duty-free shop in South Korea engaged in a brawl after one of them reportedly decided to head straight in front of the line.
A witness filmed the fight which happened on Tuesday morning on the 12th floor in the cosmetics section of the Lotte Duty-Free Store in Seoul’s Uljiro district.
In the footage, the two women are shown pulling each other’s hair and clawing at each other on the ground. Bystanders are seen in watching in shock as the two customers trade blows with each other.
A man, believed to be the husband of one of them, is then seen stomping on the other woman’s head.
“She was bullying my wife!” the man yelled as some people from the crowd tried to intervene.
“Stop fighting! Stop fighting!’ said some of the onlookers.
According to an employee at the department store, mall security arrived about five minutes after the scuffle erupted. She also confirmed to MailOnline that the fight started because a woman cut through the customers’ line.
The local police also got involved and took statements from the three unruly tourists.
Chinese netizens berated the shoppers, with some calling them “an embarrassment to China.”
“These people should be banned from traveling to anywhere else!” one commenter wrote.
“Such an embarrassment to other Chinese people,” added another social media user. “They should just stay in the country.”
