Popular Chinese streamer known online as “Your Highness Qiao Biluo” on the live-streaming platform Douyu was recently unmasked by a technical glitch and viewers were shocked to discover that she was actually a 58-year-old auntie.
The vlogger was a popular game streamer in China that goes by the handle name of 乔碧萝殿下. But everything changed during a live-stream with another streamer known online as Qingzi on July 25, according to BBC.

She only noticed that her filter had stopped working when the number of viewers on their stream started to fall dramatically.
“Your Highness Qiao Biluo,” who has more than 100,000 followers on the social media platform, is renowned for her “sweet and healing voice.” Some members even reportedly worshipped her as a “cute goddess” and some have even given her more than 100,000 yuan ($14,533) in donations.

Qiao Biluo’s fans had urged her before to show her true face, to which she would always refuse and say: “I can’t show my face until I receive gifts worth 100,000 yuan ($11,950). After all, I’m a good-looking host.”
After this announcement, followers’ donations started to pour in with the largest amount reported being 40,000 yuan ($5,813) during a session.

But after the sudden unmasking, many of her fans reportedly withdrew their transactions; however, instead of losing followers, Qiao Biluo allegedly gained even more as UNILAD claims that she hit a 650,000 mark after the technical glitch.
