A shocking video of a man gulping down a huge bottle of cooking oil in about 40 seconds has gone viral on Chinese social media.
As seen in the footage, the shirtless man opens and lifts the bottle of cooking oil upright before drinking it non-stop.
The Daily Mail estimated the bottle’s volume to be at least five liters, which makes any sane person question the health consequences of such an act.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture recommends a daily limit of seven teaspoons for men ages 19 to 30 and six teaspoons for those at least 31 years of age.
After consuming the entire container of oil, the unidentified man brings the empty bottle back to the table and makes a gesture of pride for the camera.
The video was reportedly filmed on July 5 and originated from Nanning, Guangxi Province, China.
