A Chinese makeup artist has gone viral on Chinese social media for her sorcerous skills in making people look significantly younger than their real age.
Going viral: Tuzi, a Douyin makeup celebrity with over 6 million followers, recently transformed comedian Tang Jianjun, 57, into a “27-year-old.” The video, which was posted on Feb. 6, has gone viral with millions in likes and shares.
Brand new person: Tang noticeably looked younger after the makeup session. The comedian shared the end result with his wife, who jokingly replied, “I don’t recognize you.”

About the artist: Based in Yunnan province, Tuzi owns and runs Starlight Rabbit Portrait Studio, which offers makeup services for 399 yuan ($55) and photoshoot packages from 699 to 2,888 yuan ($97 to $401). She became known online for her “Extreme Makeover 100 People Challenge” on Douyin and for accepting students who wish to learn her techniques. She also livestreams regularly, attracting around 1 million viewers each time.
Other transformations: Tuzi has featured other Chinese celebrities and social media stars on her channel, including 37-year-old actor Yang Di, who was turned into a “boy band” member, and 72-year-old internet celebrity Grandma Tian, who transformed into a gothic-style doll.

What people are saying: Douyin users poked fun at Tang’s drastic transformation. “If he’s wanted, they’ll never catch him,” one wrote.
“Changing his face’s shape made him look amazing,” another commented.
