Chinese Grandpa Offers Teen Money to Buy Clothes After Seeing Her Ripped Jeans

 

The clip, which is believed to have originated from Chinese video sharing platform TikTok, shows the older gentleman handing over some cash to the teenage girl and insists that she should “take it” to “buy some jeans.”

As the camera pans to the right, the young woman can be seen donning shredded jeans,  which are purposely ripped on the front side, usually around the knees. The fashion style was popular during the 80s hard rock and heavy metal era then continued throughout the 90s and 2000s during the grunge era.

Realizing this is what some young people wear these days, the old man can be seen laughing briefly when the camera turns back to him before it cuts out.
