New App Claims to Determine a Woman’s Cup Size By Putting a Phone Between Each Breast

A new “health care” app in Japan claims to be able to determine a woman’s cup size by simply putting a smart phone between their breasts.
The app, ChiChi, which has not been approved for the App Store as of this article, is still in their beta test phase. The creators aim to make it easier for women to determine their cup size without having to go in for a proper fitting by a lingerie professional.
The company claims on their website that 80% of the women in the world wear the wrong bra size and it is sometimes difficult and/or awkward for women to be measured accurately.
The app, possibly through the use of the phone’s camera, is somehow able to accurately determine the size of a pair of breasts by nestling the phone between each breast.
The company plans to release the beta version of the app in February 2016 and is currently looking for testers, presumably female, on their website.
