Cat Turns Yellow After Woman Treats Fungal Infection With Turmeric

A Thai woman accidentally turned her cat into a Pikachu after she tried to cure its fungal infection with turmeric.
The cat, which is actually white, was turned yellow by its owner, Thammapa Supamas. It began when the owner claimed they noticed a fungal infection on the cat.

The woman reportedly took a more traditional approach to curing her pet’s fungal infection to prevent it from getting worse by applying turmeric on the feline’s entire body, World of Buzz reported.
Curcumin, an active component found in turmeric, is widely known to have antifungal, antimicrobial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Turmeric reportedly proved to be an effective treatment on the cat, as it walks around calmly with it’s new look in the photos below.
Edited photos soon emerged seemingly resembling Pikachu in”Pokémon Detective Pikachu” released in 2019.
Turmeric is widely known to be safe for both cats and dogs and turmeric supplements for pets have been shown to be effective against managing or treating cancers and inflammatory diseases.
