Chinese Couple Recreates Wedding Photos After 70 Years of Marriage

During World War II, the couple fled from their home in Shanghai to Chongqing, over 1,000 miles away. There, they enlisted as soldiers to fight the Japanese.
Cao was sent to Burma. He would write love letters to Wang when he could.
 
When the couple finally reunited, they married on November 24, 1945 at the age of 28.
Seventy years later, they return to the park in Chongqing where they married.
At the end of their anniversary ceremony, Wang reportedly took her husband’s hand and asked, “When we are both 100 years old, we will come back again, okay?”
