BTS is expected to soon release their very own mobile game, BTS World.
Developed in collaboration with Netmarble, “BTS World” is a simulation game designed to bring players into the group’s world with never-before-seen content, including 10,000 new photos and 100 new videos.
The game, which was originally slated for a Q1 release, is built on the idea of grooming J-Hope, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Suga, and V to become K-Pop superstars, with players acting as their managers.
“‘BTS WORLD’ was developed with the players in mind from the very beginning,”said Seungwon Lee, chief global officer at Netmarble. “Not only do they get to experience something entirely different, but they’re also getting access to a tremendous amount of new and exciting content we created with BTS specifically for the game.”
On Jan. 25, Netmarble launched an official website and Twitter account for the game. Last week, the company opened pre-registrations, which grants players access to an introduction, a BTS story and “From BTS,” a special sneak peek of the “mobile function” that allows them to interact with BTS members.
Additionally, the site features a mini-game composed of a series of questions that pair players with the member they match with best to serve as his manager.
