Lead singer So!YoON! of South Korean indie rock band SE SO NEON and BTS leader RM have released a new collaboration single, “Smoke Sprite.”
The new song is the lead single from So!YoON!’s second solo album, “Episode1: Love,” released on Tuesday. So!YoON! and RM both have songwriting credits for “Smoke Sprite.” So!YoON wrote or produced every song on her album.
So!YoON! previously teamed up with Korean American singer-songwriter Japanese Breakfast, born Michelle Zauner, for the Korean-language version of Zauner’s 2021 hit, “Be Sweet.”
This past year has also seen several collaborations for RM, who featured on Balming Tiger’s 2022 single “Sexy Nukim” and worked on his debut solo album ”Indigo” with the likes of Anderson .Paak.
The BTS member is also credited as a contributor on the tracks ”Face Off” and ”Like Crazy” for fellow bandmate Jimin’s upcoming solo album, “Face.”
