BTS’ Jimin has posted a video about the one-of-a-kind “Barbie” gift he received from Ryan Gosling.
Background info: Gosling, who plays Ken in Greta Gerwig’s recently released “Barbie,” gave Ken’s guitar from the film to Jimin as a “humble offering.”
In a video posted last week, Gosling declares that his character Ken wears the same cowboy outfit that Jimin does in the music video for BTS’ hit song “Permission to Dance.”
“I have to give it to you, you wore it first,” Gosling says. “You definitely wore it best. … If you bite another Ken’s style, you have to give them your most prized possession.”
“Hi Ryan, and hi Ken, it’s Jimin. Congrats on your big release,” Jimin says in a recently shared video, Ken guitar in hand.
“I could see that you look great in my outfit,” he adds. “Thank you for this guitar. I really love it, and I look forward to watching ‘Barbie.’ Go, ‘Barbie!’”
Jimin also praised Gosling’s character in his post’s caption, saying, “Thanks for having my outfit in #BarbieTheMovie! You rocked it, Ken.”
