K-pop boy group BTS announced on Monday in a new 30-second trailer that their web series “Run BTS” will return on Aug. 16 for a special episode.
After 10 months without a new episode, “Run BTS” will air on WeVerse and VLive at 9 p.m. KST, and on YouTube at 11 p.m. KST.
In the recent trailer, BTS leader RM says, “BTS’ own show, ‘Run BTS,’ is finally back after a 10-month break.” Member Jin adds, “We did some recharging and brought more fun back with us. We hope you’ll look forward to it.”

The web series started on Aug. 1, 2015 and aired almost every Tuesday until Oct. 12, 2021. BTS released over 150 episodes before taking a break after completing Season 3 last year.
“Run BTS” often had the group’s members play games, complete missions and engage in a variety of other fun activities.
Shortly after the release of their anthology album “Proof,” BTS announced two months ago that they would be taking a group hiatus to focus on solo projects, such as J-Hope’s solo album endeavor “Jack in the Box” and Jungkook’s collaboration with singer Charlie Puth on the track “Left and Right.”
Last month, BTS also announced five series titles that are currently in the works and set to air on Disney Plus
