Disney alum Brenda Song and “Home Alone” star Macaulay Culkin are now engaged.
Song, known for her roles as PRNDL extraordinaire London Tipton in “Suite Life” and as the titular hero in “Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior,” was spotted earlier this week wearing a diamond ring on her left hand while out in Beverly Hills. A source close to the couple later confirmed the news of the engagement with People
The two met on the set of the film “Changeland” in 2017 and became parents to their baby boy Dakota nine months ago.
The announcement of the arrival of the couple’s new child sparked controversy on social media after users dug up a 2018 podcast interview with Culkin on “The Joe Rogan Experience” in which he expressed his excitement about having “Asian babies.”
“This one’s a good one, so I’m probably going to put some babies in her in a little bit. I mean, we’ve definitely been practicing,” Culkin said. “I’m going to have some pretty babies. She’s Asian, so I’m gonna have tiny little Asian babies.”

He also added in reference to John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s son, “It’s going to be adorable — a bunch of Sean Lennon’s running around the house, that’s what I’m looking for.”
The couple has kept their relationship private from social media for the most part, though Song has only had good things to say about her now fiance.
In an Instagram post dedicated to Culkin for his birthday in August 2020, Song wrote in the caption: “Happy 40th birthday to this magical being. I could sit here and write endlessly about how wonderful, kind, loving, genuine, loyal, honest, brilliant and hilarious you are, and how grateful I am that I get to share and do this life thing with you. But firstly, that would take me an eternity and secondly, you won’t even see this because you don’t ever use instagram. Hahaha. My unicorn that I never thought could exist, I am [the] luckiest person in the world because I am loved by you.”
In November 2021 Song shared a snapshot of the two of them on an outing together, writing, “Very few things can get us out of the house and away from our son.”
