A number of international brands have joined the call to end anti-Asian hate and expressed their solidarity with Asian Americans following a series of violent attacks against the community in the last couple of months.
Some of these companies have taken to social media, posting with the hashtag #StopAsianHate, which comes with the message condemning the national wave of anti-Asian discrimination. 
Fashion and apparel brands Tommy Hilfiger, Nike and Converse have put out independent statements on the issue.
“To our Asian community, we respect you, we are with you,” a video posted by Nike noted. “Nike condemns racism.”
Meanwhile, Converse put out a tweet that said: “Hate towards one of us is hate towards all of us. We stand in solidarity with our Asian community and teammates. #StopAsianHate.”

“We are shocked and saddened by the growing violence against the Asian population in the US,” wrote a post on Tommy Hilfiger’s Instagram. “We stand with the Asian community, and will continue to use our platform to support ending discrimination and racism in all its forms.”
Media companies have also put out statements condemning anti-Asian hate, including ESPN, HBO, Complex and Westbrook.
“We stand in solidarity with the Asian American and Pacific Islander community against the rise in xenophobic rhetoric, racist acts, and anti-Asian hate crimes,” a post on Complex’s Instagram read.
“ESPN stands with the Asian community and rejects racism, xenophobia, violence and intolerance,” shared ESPN. “We are united in working toward a more inclusive future.”
According to HBO, their stories “wouldn’t exist without diverse voices and perspectives. We stand with the AAPI community in condemning the recent rise in anti-Asian hate crimes, as well as all racists acts.
Westbrook, Will and Jada Smith’s production company, also released a statement condemning Asian hate and added statistics related to the growing violence against Asians in the U.S.
Popular liqueur brand Hennessy also expressed their support to the Asian American community by making a donation to #HateIsAVirus, an organization dedicated to the fight anti-Asian hate.
“We stand in solidarity with the Asian community against hate. We look with optimism and hope towards a future without abhorrent hate crimes and racism. Until then, we’ll continue to stand up for what matters,” it wrote on Instagram. “To show our support, we are making a donation to @HateIsAVirus_, an organization dedicated to the fight against racism. #StopAsianHate #StopAAPIHate #HateIsAVirus.”

Making a public stand against discrimination is a step in the right direction in solving anti-Asian hate as it helps spread awareness and amplify the voices of the victims.
