Someone Invited BLACKPINK’s Rosé to Prom and She Might Actually Go

A high school student has become the envy of the BLACKPINK fandom after potentially snagging Rosé as his prom date.

The lucky BLINK, Twitter user @martinsheep_, prepared a banner inviting the K-Pop star to prom at the group’s concert in Hamilton, Ontario on Saturday.

In a Weibo clip from @loneranger_____ shared by @rosiechords on Twitter, @martinsheep_ is heard asking Rosé if she remembers his banner, which she first noticed during soundcheck.

“Ah you’re my prom date!” the BLACKPINK main vocalist exclaimed. “Yaaay!”

Rosé then extends her hand to reach out for something, which turned out to be a giant Bulbasaur plushie.

“Thank you,” she says, before “accepting” his promposal. “I’ll see you at the prom.”

@martinsheep_ then yells “I love you,” to which Rosé replies, “I love you too.”

As if the sweet interaction was not enough, Rosé then took to Instagram to share @martinsheep_’s invitation!

“Did I just get asked to the prom last night?”

The promposal was an instant hit among BLINKs, or BLACKPINK fans.

@martinsheep_, who just set up his Twitter account, replied, “Ahhhhhh I’m so lucky… I’m still sooo shook rn.”

Fellow BLINKs cheered for @martinsheep_, with some asking to be updated on any progress.

Twitter user @freeblackpink, who claims to have been at the soundcheck, said that Rosé actually asked @martinsheep_ to talk to her manager about it!

That being said, it’s unclear if the K-Pop star would actually show up to the prom, but luck sure poured out for @martinsheep_ that evening.
