“Born Pink” features the title track “Shut Down,” which BLACKPINK recently performed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” The new album also includes the pre-release song “Pink Venom,” which BLACKPINK performed during their U.S. award show debut at the 2022 MTV Vido Music Awardss last month. During the awards ceremony, the quartet won Best Metaverse Performance for their virtual concert and collaboration with “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile,” where they debuted the music video for “Ready For Love.”
With their new album also comes a world tour, which will start next month in Seoul. YG Entertainment has claimed that the upcoming tour will be “the largest world tour in the history of a K-pop girl group.”
