A group of bikini-clad models seemingly defied gravity as they struck poses for a photo shoot on one of China’s gut-wrenching glass skywalks over the weekend.

The photo shoot, part of a local “tourism ambassadors beauty contest,” was held on the skywalk beside Baiyuan Mountain outside of Luoyang, Henan Province, Sina reported.

The models, all barefoot, braved their way along a cliff at an altitude of more than 1,000 meters.

The shoot is thought to be an exercise where the models could challenge themselves and see their careers “go further” while being “more stable.”

Apparently, the skywalk is just one of many of China’s glass walkways that threaten the peace and calm of any acrophobic who dares to beat their fear.
