New trailer for ‘Attack on Titan’ final season teases destructive ultimate battle

The trailer for season four, part two of “Attack on Titan,” reveals the first look into Eren Yeager and Reiner Braun’s rematch.

Animation studio MAPPA recently released the trailer for season four, part two of “Attack on Titan,” revealing the first look into Eren Yeager and Reiner Braun’s highly anticipated rematch. 
The finale: The new trailer teases the second part of the fourth and final season of “Attack on Titan,” which will conclude the fight between Eren and Reiner. The trailer also introduced a battle involving Zeke, the beast Titan.

  • “Attack on Titan,” which is based on the manga series by Hajime Isayama, is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humans live behind enormous walls for protection against giant, man-eating humanoids called “Titans.”
  • The anime explored Reiner’s operation in his home territory and revealed Eren’s new plan of attack on the Marleyan invaders during the first half of season four. While Eren is the main protagonist of “Attack on Titan,” Reiner is also considered a main protagonist from the Marleyan perspective.
Following episode 16 of part one, “Above and Below,” episode 17 of part two, “Judgement,” will premiere on Jan. 9, 2022, on the NHK General channel. It will also be available on streaming platforms Crunchyroll, Funimation and Hulu.
