Hong Kong singer and actor Andy Hui recently held a press conference to apologize to the public and his wife, Sammi Cheng, after he was caught cheating.
Controversy erupted for the 51-year-old Hui after a video of him cuddling with 30-year-old TVB actress Jacqueline Wong in the backseat of a taxi went viral on Tuesday.

The video showed the two celebrities telling another man that they will go home separately. However, as soon as the man left the car, the pair started acting like a couple, holding hands and kissing passionately.
The footage was reportedly filmed earlier this month but was just recently made public, according to Shanghaiist.
Hui, who is considered as one of the most successful singers in Hong Kong, faced reporters on Tuesday afternoon to express his apology to his wife.

In his statement, Hui called himself a “scumbag” and said that he is disgusted with himself.
He also explained that he had been drinking excessively to celebrate a friend’s birthday that night while also acknowledging that being drunk was not an excuse for such behavior.
Hui then announced that he was taking a break from his career as he tries to find his “real self.” He also posted an apology on his Instagram account.
Before marrying 90s superstar Sammi Cheng in 2013, they were in an on-again, off-again relationship for nearly a decade. Through the years, the pair, dubbed as Cantopop’s golden couple, has kept their relationship private.
Meanwhile, Wong, a former Miss Hong Kong runner-up, is currently in a relationship with fellow TVB actor Kenneth Ma.
