A teaser clip of the upcoming rom-com featuring comedian Ali Wong and “Fresh off the Boat” star Randall Park has been released.
Wong herself shared the first glimpse of the film “Always Be My Maybe” on her Instagram account on Tuesday.

In the Netflix original movie, Wong plays a celebrity chef named Sasha while Park plays a struggling musician named Marcus.
The story revolves around the relationship between the two characters who are childhood friends reconnecting 15 years later.

Wong and Park teamed up on writing the “Always Be My Maybe” script with Michael Golamco, according to Variety.
In making the film, Park and Wong reunited with “Fresh Off the Boat” creator and showrunner Nahnatchka Khan, who made her feature film directorial debut for Netflix.
The star-studded movie, which features other big Asian American stars such as Daniel Dae Kim, Keanu Reeves, and Karan Soni, is slated to be released on May 31.
