Beloved Olympian Siblings Admit to Being Huge BTS Fans and ARMY is Coming

Alex and Maia Shibutani, the highly adored Shib Sibs of Team USA, are apparently huge K-pop fans.

The figure-skating duo, who made history for being the first ice dance team of Asian descent to win an Olympic medal, showed they are part of the growing ARMY fandom.

Alex Shibutani tweeted on Feb. 16 a photo of them with personalized hats made for K-pop group BTS.

The adorable hats have each of the BTS members’ names along with the official logo for the U.S. Olympic Team.

The siblings are reaching out to their followers for help in getting the hats into BTS’ hands.

Members of the ARMY fandom have responded quite positively to the gesture, with many of them giving suggestions on how to quickly reach the popular boyband via their PR team.

The Shib sibs, who are currently competing at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, won the hearts of multitudes of fans not only with their talent, but also with their inspiring success story.
