Russian Singer Under Fire For ‘Stealing’ K-Pop Star Taeyang’s Hit Song

A Russian singer is currently in hot water for allegedly stealing K-Pop star Taeyang’s “Eyes, Nose, Lips.”
On Wednesday, Albina uploaded a new music video on her YouTube channel where over 2,000 people have subscribed. The song, titled “I Love You”, has a striking resemblance to Taeyang’s “Eyes, Nose, Lips,” a song from the Big Bang member’s 2014 album “Rise”.
Albina claimed that she created the music and lyrics in the video’s description, but netizens are not convinced.
Comments were disabled for the video that has since raked over 10,000 dislikes, way over a dismal 114 likes as of this writing. Fans took their rage to Twitter:
The song has since been taken down due to a copyright claim by YG Entertainment, but here are two comparison videos:

If this happened on campus, Stanford should issue a clear public update and specific safety actions.

Agree. People need facts and process, not silence. The school should confirm what is being investigated.
