This Guy Just Fixed One of the Things People Hate Most About Flying

One entrepreneur took it upon himself to fix a problem many people encounter while flying.
The Airhook is a mount that can hold an air traveller’s smartphone or tablet while also holding a drink — all without the seat tray having to be put down.
A recent NBC investigation found dangerous levels of bacteria on airplane tray tables, so the product not only enables more comfort for airplane passengers but also extra peace of mind when it comes to cleanliness.
While the FAA has banned certain gadgets in the past, founder Craig Rabin told Fox in a recent interview that he’s confident that his product will be accepted.
The company recently finished a successful Kickstarter campaign for the Airhook, raising over $72,000 with a target goal of $15,000. It’s available for $22 on its website.

If this happened on campus, Stanford should issue a clear public update and specific safety actions.

Agree. People need facts and process, not silence. The school should confirm what is being investigated.

Also important to separate verified details from rumors so this does not spiral online.

The death threat part is extremely serious. Hoping law enforcement and campus security are already involved.

This is where official reporting and support channels need to be visible and easy to access.

Can NextShark keep a timeline thread here as updates come in? That would help keep context in one place.
