In February, SM Entertainment released a preview of its upcoming release plans for the first half of the year, stating that aespa and other artists such as Taeyeon and SHINee would have comebacks later this year.
No other details for “MY WORLD” have yet been announced, but some of the new tracks performed at aespa’s first-ever “SYNK: Hyper Line” concerts in February are likely to appear on the album.
Additionally, the K-pop quartet recently contributed an original soundtrack titled “Hold On Tight” for the “Tetris” movie on Apple TV+. They are slated to make history at two music festivals later this year. In June, they will be performing at the Governors Ball music festival in New York, and in August, they will be the first K-pop act to perform at the Outside Lands music festival in San Francisco.
“MY WORLD” is scheduled for release on May 8 at 6 p.m. KST.
