K-pop girl group aespa released 19 different physical versions of their third mini-album “MY WORLD” on Friday.
About the album: Digital versions of “MY WORLD” were released in May. The album is led by the title track “Spicy” and include the B-sides “Salty & Sweet,” “Thirsty,” “Till We Meet Again” and “I’m Unhappy,” all of which were performed during the quartet’s “SYNK: Hyper Line” concert in February.
19 versions: The different album versions are as follows: a “Tabloid” version; an “Intro” version (individual member covers); a “Zine” version (“Welcome to MY WORLD,” “Spicy,” Barnes and Noble exclusive, Target exclusive); a “Poster” version (individual member covers, Walmart exclusive, Amazon exclusive) and an “SMini” version (individual member covers).
As is the case with most K-pop albums, the different “MY WORLD” copies will include posters, photocards, polaroids, trading cards, photobooks and more.
Future aespa activities: Aespa will embark on the U.S. leg of their “SYNK: Hyper Line” tour on Aug. 13 in Los Angeles. The tour will conclude in New York City on Sept. 5. They are also slated to perform at the Outside Lands music festival in San Francisco in August.
