Chinese New Year is a day to gather with friends, fam, old spirits, and new. Open your doors, open your windows, sweep out last year’s luck and welcome in the new. As an Overseas Taiwanese-Chinese, my favorite part of Chinese New Year has always been introducing our culture and values to friends. Since I was a kid, my neighbors would come through, try our food, set off fireworks, and chase away evil spirits. To celebrate those experiences, @AdidasRunning @adidasoriginals #ultraboost , myself, @jillionaire @walshyfire @drewbyrd and @moranmorangallery are throwing an INTERSECTIONAL AFRO-CARRIBEAN CHINEE BOYZ BBQ highlighting the cultural exchange thats been happening in Overseas Chinese communities from Taiwan to Trinidad to Jamaica to Cuba and Paris or Argentina and beyond. WE OUT HERE! And as the Jamaican National Motto goes: Out of many, one people 🙏🙏🙏 also, the best part… we’re dropping THE YEAR OF THE PANDA ULTRA BOOST WITH THE CHINEE BOYZ LOGO IN THE SOLE. 🇹🇼🇨🇳🇹🇹🇯🇲🇰🇷🇨🇺
