Celebrity chef, author, and restaurateur Eddie Huang has teamed up with Adidas for an Ultra Boost collaboration celebrating Chinese New Year.
The sneakers will be dressed in all-red with gold metallic details, adorned with Huang’s gold panda Chinee Boyz BBQ logo.
According to Adidas, the shoes will be available Thursday, February 7th at 7:00 a.m. PST.
The sneakers are priced at $200, and feature Adidas’ signature “Primeknit upper that’s supporting and flexible,” according to product description.
Huang took to Instagram to announce the collaboration, as well as express how much Chinese New Year means to him.
“As an Overseas Taiwanese-Chinese, my favorite part of Chinese New Year has always been introducing our culture and values to friends,” Huang said. “Since I was a kid, my neighbors would come through, try our food, set off fireworks, and chase away evil spirits.”
“also, the best part… we’re dropping THE YEAR OF THE PANDA ULTRA BOOST WITH THE CHINEE BOYZ LOGO IN THE SOLE.”
