If you’ve ever wished you could visit “Breaking Bad’s” Los Pollos Hermanos restaurant in real life, your wish just might be coming true.
Meth kingpin Gus Fring’s (Giancarlo Esposito) fried chicken restaurant chain from “Breaking Bad” may actually become a real restaurant, according to show creator Vince Gilligan. Apparently, there’s a businessman who “has an interest” in making Los Pollos Hermanos an actual chain.

“Believe it or not… there is talk of a Pollos Hermanos becoming a real restaurant. This is not an idea that I generated personally. But it’s one that’s been presented to me, through the good folks at Sony, and the idea came to them from a businessman who has an interest in doing just that…Speaking for myself, I’d love to see that happen!”

Right now, a major destination spot for “Breaking Bad” fanatics is a burrito restaurant called Twisters in Albuquerque, New Mexico, that served as the location for the fictional Los Pollos Hermanos. In the television show, the Los Pollos Hermanos chain is used as a front for character Gustavo Fring’s meth-dealing operations.
So what would you get at a real-life Los Pollos Hermanos? Reddit users have a lot of ideas. So far, suggestions include ice cream covered with blue Pop Rocks to look like meth, “Heisenburgers” and “Onion Frings.” One fan also suggested a Walter White look-alike sitting alone at one of the restaurant’s booths. The best idea, however, calls for a free GPS tracker installed under your car by a serial killer with every purchase of a combo meal.
Curiously, fried chicken wasn’t discussed much. And we know what you’re thinking — the new restaurant could serve as the perfect front for a giant, international meth distribution network. That’s a no-go because, well, the last time we checked, meth is illegal.
