Ten-Year-Old Boy Returns Woman’s Lost Wallet Along With the Sweetest Letter You’ll Ever Read

A California woman got a touching surprise after a little boy returned a lost wallet with a special note inside it.
According to Today, 22-year-old Taylor Sloan lost her wallet at a motocross event in Oakland. It contained her ID, debit card and about $40 in cash. She never expected to get the wallet returned.
To Sloan’s surprise, her mother called three days later telling her that her wallet had arrived in the mail along with a letter written by a 10-year-old boy named Nasim Lawrence.
The note, addressed to “Ms Sloan,” is a short and sweet explanation on why he decided to return the wallet instead of just keeping it for himself.
The letter reads:
“I know how it feels to lose something and I wanted to make sure you got your wallet back.
“Hopefully, I made you smile and you are happy to have your money and ID back. I am glad I found it instead of some bad person who would steal from you.
“You look like a very nice person who does nice things for people so I wanted to do something nice for you. Plus, it’s the honest thing to do.”
The ecstatic Sloan immediately shared a picture of the note on Facebook which caught the attention of her radio DJ friend Dano Wano, who then shared the story to the Froggy 92.9 country radio station’s page.
Several news outlets picked up the story after it gathered a significant amount of shares and finally reached Lawrence himself when his school principal came up to him saying, “You’re famous!”
Sloan and Lawrence’s mothers have since exchanged messages on Facebook after the latter added the recent Sonoma State University graduate on the social networking site.
Returning the favor, Sloan said that she plans to send a letter back to Nasim with a bag of candy and a cash reward.
”I hope he writes back,” she said. “I’d love for us to be pen pals.”
