Nap Desk is Officially the Perfect Desk for Exhausted Workaholics

If you’ve ever had one of those days where you feel like curling up under your desk to nap, then this is the desk you’ve been looking for.
Greek design company Studio NL has created a desk that can transform into your very own private nap pod to catch up on sleep or just have a place to hide in a busy office.
The desk is made of metal, wood and white leather. The sides and top of the desk fold and slide to reveal a napping area for you to fully stretch out — all you need to bring is a pillow and blanket.
The designers said on Archilovers:
“The main concept was to comment on the fact that many times our lives are ‘shrinking’ in order to fit into the confined space of our office.”
“This desk could be used for a siesta or for a few hours of sleep at night on those days when someone struggles to meet deadlines.”
Walls for the desk are optional, but you’ll definitely want to get them if you want to block off the office world outside. Now you just have to sit back and wait for them to take your money.

If this happened on campus, Stanford should issue a clear public update and specific safety actions.

Agree. People need facts and process, not silence. The school should confirm what is being investigated.

Also important to separate verified details from rumors so this does not spiral online.

The death threat part is extremely serious. Hoping law enforcement and campus security are already involved.

This is where official reporting and support channels need to be visible and easy to access.

Can NextShark keep a timeline thread here as updates come in? That would help keep context in one place.
