Mysterious Troll Streams Porn on a Videotron in the Middle of Traffic in Indonesia

A busy street in South Jakarta, Indonesia was temporarily treated to some raunchy entertainment when a huge videotron began streaming porn on Friday.

Commuters who were stuck in traffic were shocked to see sexually explicit scenes being played on the giant screen usually reserved for commercial ads. The erotic scene between an Asian couple (a man and a woman) was featured in the middle of the afternoon traffic.

Incidentally, the videotron that aired the porn clip is situated right beside a mosque, according to Rappler.

Concerned motorists immediately took photos and videos of the screen and posted them on Twitter. Soon enough, the hashtag #videotron became a Twitter trending topic in Indonesia. Many netizens made fun of the incident, while some got worried about it.

Indonesia, a primarily Muslim nation, still considers the subject of sex as a cultural taboo and such a public display of vulgarity is highly unusual.

A Twitter user called the attention of local authorities by tagging Jakarta governor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaya Purnama, and metro police in her tweet.

The Jakarta Provincial Government immediately turned the screen off following the complaints. There was no explanation provided on who aired the clip on the screen and why it was placed there in the first place.
