Many of us watched Fred Rogers and his T.V. show “Mister Rogers Neighborhood” growing up. His lessons were always simple, but had a profound impact on many people’s lives.
In 1981, Quadriplegic Jeff Erlanger appeared on the show where Rogers gave him simple words of advice that changed Erlanger’s life forever. Twenty years later, Erlanger surprises Rogers onstage at the T.V. Hall of Fame Ceremony to thank him for everything he’s done. Watch the heartwarming interaction above.
