Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla went viral after a video of him adorably dancing with his granddaughter was posted on social media.
The 20-second clip was initially shot for the friends of Kalla’s granddaughter Jamila, Husain Abdullah, the vice president’s spokesperson, told Kompas.com via The Jakarta Post.
In the clip, Jamila can be seen dancing to Dutch rapper Dopebwoy’s song “Cartier.”

The vice president enters the room dancing to the rhythm as he waves his hand in the air, which Abdullah refers to as the Joget JK or simply as the JK Dance.
The clip was then shared on the popular video-sharing platform Tik-Tok and became viral on Wednesday.
“It was spontaneous. JK [Kalla] likes to play with his grandchildren,” Abdullah said of the video, which was recorded in the vice president’s official residence in Jl. Diponegoro in Menteng, Central Jakarta.
Kalla reportedly did not have any problems with the viral video, which also can now be viewed on the spokesperson’s Instagram.
