Just about everyone has wondered what life would be like on another planet, especially Mars because it is so close to Earth. Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX, released Instagram pictures yesterday portraying what it would be like to actually land a spaceship on the red planet.

Musk’s company has already developed a spacecraft that will get astronauts to the International Space Station by 2017, but he says he is developing reusable rockets and an entire suite of new spacecrafts that will successfully land on Mars.
SpaceX tested the Dragon capsule last May with promising results. After they successfully transport people to the ISS next year, Musk and his company will become entirely focused on putting feet on the surface of Mars with their new spacecraft, called the Red Dragon.
