Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Singapore’s latest limited-time drink, which combines mango, chocolate and chili, has left countless social media users both confused and intrigued.
About the new drink: On Friday, the U.S. coffee shop chain, which has over 60 outlets in Singapore, advertised the latest variant of its trademark Ice Blended drink on social media.
The Mango Chilli Chocolate Ice Blended consists of a “creamy and sweet” chocolate drink with “a hint of spice” and pureed mango, dark chocolate syrup and chili-infused whipped cream.
Netizens react: Several social media users were quick to comment on the new drink, with some of them wondering if it’s a “delayed” April Fool’s joke.
“Is this for real?” one Instagram user wrote, while another said, “I tried this today. I actually like it.”
Price and availability: Those interested in trying the new drink can find it in various Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf outlets across Singapore, starting at 8.80 Singapore dollars (approximately $6.50).
