Chinese Father Viciously Assaults Sleeping Daughter to Win Back His Ex-Wife

Horrifying footage of a Chinese father repeatedly slapping his young daughter has enraged the internet.

In the clip, the man can be seen beating his five-year-old daughter while she was sleeping. The helpless girl immediately woke up and began crying as the father continued to slap her.

According to CGTN, the upsetting scene reportedly happened in Daqing, Heilongjiang Province.

The man, who had recently divorced his wife, uploaded the video online to allegedly draw out his ex-wife from hiding. However, Chinese netizens were able to watch and share the footage of the abuse, enraging thousands.

After an investigation, authorities arrested the father identified only as “Jiang”.

Confessing to the crime, he claimed that he intended to show the video to his ex-wife to convince her to get back with him.

For his actions, Jiang was jailed for only 15 days, while his ex-wife was granted custody of their daughter.

The video has sparked outrage on Chinese social media, with many netizens expressing their anger at the violent father and pity for the poor girl.

“That man should be sent to an isolated place…. he doesn’t deserve a place in the society,” one Facebook user commented.

“Poor little girl…she didn’t do anything to deserve that kind of slap…that man need a discipline himself…I hope he gets clap around in prisons for what he did…that’s not right,” another wrote.
