The 65-year-old prime minister also demonstrated the application of cannabis oil by inhaling them and applying some on the back of his ears, Nation Thailand reported. He also said he will be purchasing some for himself.
The website, medcannabis.go.th, gives information about where to find cannabis clinics, what products are available, and infographics that show basic research on marijuana.
Although the prime minister is pro-marijuana, he has said that it should still be handled carefully and handling it without supervision by a medical professional could be potentially harmful.
Thailand, which became the leader in legalizing medical marijuana in Asia, made the legalization push last year as a “New Year’s gift” to its citizens.
