Tesla’s Unreleased SUV Caught Driving Near Palo Alto [WATCH]

Tesla’s newest SUV model, the Model X, was spotted driving on the highway near Palo Alto last week.

Some of the SUV’s design features are clad in white trim, indicating that some design elements may still be in development. The video is probably the best and most public sighting of the much anticipated, all-electric, all-wheel-drive, gull-winged SUV.

Pricing for the SUV, which requires a minimum deposit of $5,000, will “be priced competitively with premium SUVs and about five to 10 per cent more than the Tesla S four-door sedan which starts at $57,400,” according to Tesla chief designer Franz von Holzhausen.

The Model X is set to be released to buyers later this year assuming there are no more delays.
